I installed Gallery 2.3 with Bluehost in their one click feature, using Simple Script. My gallery is here:
http://www.alternativephotography.com/gallery/main.php
I uploaded images using the html form.
The thumbnails do not display. I have logged out and back in again.
MySQL is installed. I work on a mac, if that makes a difference, OSX.
I can see the real images, like this:
http://www.alternativephotography.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=13
I have done "Site admin" and "Build all thumbnails"
Do i need to tell it which image should be the thumbnail or something? I'm clueless... searched the documentation, but i really have no idea... can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Uninstall all image toolkits.
Install, configure and test one at a time.
What are the results of the tests?

FAQ: Thumbnails / resized images don't get generated properly, how can it be fixed?

Dave

Oh, i installed with one click and simple script though bluehost... i read this:
"Sometimes the image toolkit modules of Gallery need to be reconfigured (e.g. if your webhost changes something or if you move servers). Uninstall the image toolkit modules (imagemagick, netpbm, gd, ffmeg, jpegtran, dcraw, ...) and then install them again and try to activate them again. Note: Deactivating is not enough. You need to uninstall these modules. "
And have no idea what to do. Shall i delete everything, and install again from bluehost? This is too technical for me... :-(

Login as admin.
Click the 'Site Admin' link
Click the 'plugins' link
Click 'uninstall' next to imagemagick, netpbm, gd, ffmeg, jpegtran, dcraw

Let me know when you get that far.

Dave

Oh, i don't think they ever got installed... at least it does not say "uninstall", just "install" or "delete".
Shall i click on "install" for all of them?

I won't be adding movies, so i did not install "ffmpeg"... clicked install on NetPBM and Gd. ImageMagick needs some configuration, which i don't know what to do with. What next? :-)

I just uploaded a new album, and now the thumbnails work for THAT album, but not the old ones. Is there a "rebuild thumbnails" somewhere, or do i upload the old albums again?
