On WHs I would like to point the storage path to a subdirectory on the Shared folder " Photos" . unfortunately whe I run the php installer and get to point 4, the unc path does not work and I receive a message that the path does not exist.

Is there anyone with a whs who can point me in theright direction? I really do not want to use C: and D; Is not recommended either. MS has always recommended UNC paths. Is there a solution for the whs?

Many thanks!!

Gallery version 2.3
Operating system whs (server 2003 based)
Browser Firefox 3.5.3.

Gallery can't use UNC paths.

Map a drive or switch to Linux and mount the remote directory.

And btw, I don't know if mapping a drive will work either. But on Windows you have to use Database locking instead of file locking so that issue might be mute anyway.
