Newbie question - Gallery and Cubecart

I am a relative newcomer to maintaining a web site. I am about 75% done on an online store selling hand made toys and various items. I am using Cubecart v3 (proving very good thus far too).

I have setup the various site documents such as about us, contact us etc. I have one called Gallery, which I want to be able to upload images of various one off items that I've made to inspire people (I do custom orders you see). The ability for users to upload their own photos would be a bonus.

My host provider offers Gallery script via Fantastico.

My questions are
1. Will I be able to set this up so the gallery appears in this gallery 'site document'? I dont want it taking over my whole site, just occupying this space.
2. If yes, will customers need to register to upload images, and if so, can Gallery hook into the user details the person has submitted for an account with me? I'd like users to be able to use the same username and password without having to register again for the gallery feature.

On a totally seperate topic, just in case somebody knows the answer. I'm using a downloaded cubecart skin and for some reason it is stripping <B> tags out of any text I add such as category text (using Estelles mod), product descriptions and site docs. If I change to another skin they reappear! Thankfully it keeps <BR>'s and <FONT> tags but strips <B> (and <I>). Any ideas why this would happen?

Sorry for the off topic posting, and thanks in advance for any advice you have on the suitability of Gallery for what I'm trying to do.
