Hi,
I know the response to a previous audio question was "Gallery3 won't support audio files." I assume that means it won't play them if it was possible to upload them. Would it be possible to easily create the possibility of uploading sound files to albums as the user's Windows Media Player or other player would open and play the file. A bit clumsy I know but it works. Haven't a clue how easy/difficult this would be, in fact, could I change or add something to enable this to happen. Excuse my ignorance,

You'd need to create a module that enabled support for those formats. There is/was discussion going on about this and I'm not even 100% sure the code changes needed to let that happen right now have been committed. But yes, in the future you'd be able to create a module that enabled support for additional formats. Right now, you should create a flash "movie" that was audio only

Thanks for that. Tried the flash audio. Doesn't work for me because the flow player opens in a seperate window and doesn't allow a slideshow to run at the same time. In G2 I am able to upload individual sound files into individual albums which can then be started and then a slideshow started at the same time. The media player minimises and can be stopped at any time. I hope the discussion mentioned bears fruit or maybe I am alone in my request and should stick with G2 though I really like the simplicity of G3,
