cant display only imageblock g2_show=views

How do you display ,within the imageblock, only g2_show=views without showing the actuall specificitem

Shows a photo with views, but i just want the number of views from this specificitem.

I don't know if this fits the bill, but you might want to look at this 3rd party utility:
http://www.flashyourweb.com/staticpages/index.php?page=mediaBlock

It works quite well and I found it to have a bit more functionality/flexibility than G2's ImageBlock
