Gallery version: 2.2
PHP version: probably 5
PHPInfo Link (see FAQ): None that I can access
Webserver (e.g. Apache 1.3.33): ??
Database (e.g. MySql 5.0.32): MySql 4.1.22
Activated toolkits (e.g. NetPbm, GD): ??
Operating system (e.g. Linux): mine? XP home edition. Theirs? Debian GNU/Linux
Browser: Firefox 3.0.13

As you can tell from the above, I'm a noob at this.

Okay, here's my dilemma.

I have 2 galleries, one on each of 2 subdomains, all on the same server. I'm looking to see if there's a shortcut to copying an album from one gallery to the other. My webhost allows for file or folder copying between subdomains, and I've tried to do that, but the script on the receiving gallery doesn't acknowledge the existence of the new album, even though I've put it in the corresponding folder of the receiving subdomain's gallery. I can find nothing in the site admin for dealing with such a thing.

Creating the duplicate album by setting up each album and uploading each item is going to be time-consuming. Last night, I uploaded artwork to the album I want to duplicate and it got to the point that I could only upload one or two files at a time (despite all of my files being far less than 2MB each). Took three hours for roughly 60 pictures.

So, any ideas? I did notice that there was a "upload from server" function, but I have no idea how to set that up, and my fumbling attempts did nothing towards making it useful.

Please help a noob out here. Thanks in advance.

"Upload from server" would be the only option I can see. Read this:
