How to rebuild thumbnails?

Is it possible to rebuild thumbnails in gallery3? I ran the 'rebuild images' maintenance task but that did not seem to fix my problematic thumbnails. It seems as though when some of the images were uploaded thumbnails were created from the left upper 1/3 portion of the images instead of scaling down the entire image. Not sure if this is a common issue but I have only noticed it in Beta3. |

I have imported from G2 v2.3 and many of my thumbnails are missing too.
The fullsize image is imported but many of the thumbnails are missing.
I would also like to know how to rebuild the thumbnails ?

This could be 2 issues so boots please start a new thread.
rhettardo, You can change the thumb size :
Admin -> Appearance -> theme options: Thumbnail size (in pixels)
if you change this size you will be prompted to have gallery rebuild them, then you can change the size back and they will build again.
What image toolkit are you using?
Got an example to show us the unusual thumbnails? Is the resize fine?
Anything in the var/logs from that time you uploaded the items?

Actually I did change the thumbnail to 150 and then back to 200, and now all thumbnails seem fine

I am using ImageMagick v6.2.4 currently. I also have GD 2.0.34 as an option.
I've attached an example of the thumbnails.

If changing the thumb size and then changing it back as boost did and that does not work perhapsit is issue with the image. Please post the image so we can test.
