I am having trouble finding a workable binary to
put into the 'Zip Path' box after I click to configure
the Zip Download module.
I've been in touch with my host and they told me to
use /usr/bin/zip. I put that line into the dialogue box
and got a response saying, 'unable to create a zip file
from this binary'.

You have hardly anything in your Gallery. Is this a new install? If so, why did you install a version that's so old?
Grab the latest version of G2 and upgrade to that:

I doubt that'll fix the issue, but it might. Once you've done that and if it's not working, post a link to phpinfo:
