Hi,

I have had a look through various threads and can't seem to find the answer ....

How do you remove the "edit permissions" on user sub-albums. At the moment all users have the ability to change permissions, for other registered users and admins.

I do not want my users to have this ability/functionality - how can I remove it?

I am using Gallery 2.3

Cheers

Claire

If they are the owner of their album, they can edit permissions.

If they are not, then click on Edit Permissions and make sure they do not have the Change Item Permissions permission

I too would like users to add sub albums but not be able to edit item permissions in those sub albums. When I have given a user group the permission to add sub album but NOT allow the group to edit item permissions they can still edit item perms in the sub album.

Any further suggestions from anyone would be much appreciated?

or search for jens permissions . Nobody from the community has developed a codex page for documentation, and I have never tried these mods/modules.
