G2 import, tags with ampersand

I have some pictures with tags with an ampersand, like "A & B" in my G2. After importing this from G3 (with the G2 importer), the result is two tags, one is correct "A & B", the second one is "A &". Is the ampersand character supported? Or is it a bug? |

I think this was fixed in an experimental version.
What version are you using?
Beta? if so:

Using the latest Gallery2 and Galery3 versions (from svn and git), have one or more photo's with tags that include an ampersand (like "A & B"). Run the G2 importor on Gallery3 and see the resulting tags.

I just realize that the picture also has the same tags in the IPTC keywords, that might be causing this issue...

Yes that is a know issue and the resolution is WAY down the priority list. You have to edit the tags in G3 to correct the issue.
Multi word tags was not going to be supported and import of G2 tags was not going to be done either. But protesting enough got multi work and import. So I guess we have to live with some minor inconveniences, as in the ampersand in this case.
