Server error: self signed cert and Firefox

My site uses a self signed cert for its pages. I've never had a problem with any other installed app,but this one is baffling. I can upload photos just fine using IE 7 and 8, but with Firefox 3.5 I get a "server error" right away.

I've read other psots that mention that this might be a beta bug, but I've seen other reports longer that that.

Can anyone help let me know if this is something that is known and being worked on? I am happy to provide more info if needed.
