Internet Explorer 6.0 has an unwanted thin Grey region at the top of every page (Not present of Explorer 8.x). Like many my work is using an old browser which I cannot upgrade.
You could file a bug report on this, but as I recall, we where not going to put much effort into making IE6 work great. Perhaps well. If it is a easy fix then it will go in but if it a lot of effort then it will be up to the community to come up with some fixes. It very dificult to keep support for the vast number of browsers and OS they run on.
If you can see what is involved in fixing this, verifying the fix does not break other browser and let us know what you find, it will get up into the code base faster.

No.. it's just very difficult to keep support for the IE6 (i'm a web programmer so i know what im talking about) Normally when i create a HTML/CSS Layout it works in IE8 (and IE7), Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc. (sometimes there are little corrections) - but in IE6 it has a lot of problems.
I think it's okay if you don't put too much effort in the IE6 support - it's a shame that so many users still use this piece of s*** ;)

I think so too and that is my personal preference, but because of so many users still being on IE6, we can't ignore them. This grey bar wasn't oddly sized like this in earlier versions, so it's most likely due to some of the CSS refactoring that's been going on.

Screenshot?
I, like many, no longer have access (or reliable access) to IE 6
o.k. I have access, but not easy access. Is this what you are seeing?
