Is it possible to add sales tax to invoice in cart

I've been searching this forum & I can't find a method to add sales tax in v2.3 Many posts are past my skill level but I can pass on your info to my web designer,

Perhaps my search criteria was not worded properly? searched "sales tax""taxes" no luck.

If someone knows of the threads please advise. Thanks

I don't know about the 'cart' module; it's a recurring question about the 'checkout' module though. Essentially it's possible with a fairly large amount of work, but the result will be tied to one particular territory and tax regime and will be really awkward to use from everyone else's point of view. There's no solution that's applicable for a reasonable number of people and fits well with the user experience.

Sorry I mispoke - by cart I was refering to 'checkout' module.

Does version 3 include a taxable option or other improvements to the 'checkout' module?

There is no checkout module for Gallery 3. Someone is writing an ecommerce module for Gallery 3 but I don't know what features it includes. As far as I know it is still in beta stage, as is G3.
