I've been trying to replace a relatively large number of jpgs with tiffs on my gallery. The tiffs are large (up to ~60MB), but there isn't a problem uploading them normally. I do have trouble when I try to use the reupload module to replace the pictures that I have already. When I reupload, it sits for a few seconds (approximately the right amount of time for the file to transfer) then it drops me back to the main gallery page.

Try it on a small sample tiff first. Are you sure that reupload will work if you change file types?

Thanks for the suggestion. I uploaded a small tiff to replace a small jpg (same resolution images, so it's not a full test of what I'm wanting to do). Reupload allowed the replacement to occur, but the reuploaded file didn't get converted to jpgs for viewing nor could I download the original. So, with this test, I don't think it works for converting jpgs to tiffs.
