G3 move installation from the root to a Gallery3 folder!!??

Hey I installed G3 Beta 3 earlier and did a bunch of work and loaded images. I read through the upgrade process and noticed I forgot to place the installation within a Gallery3 folder. I need to upgrade to the latest .git - so how do I go about this? Whats the process? all the best |

Basically unpack the current code into a directory and move the var directory into that. Done.

Now I have the site not in root but 1 level down in "gallery3". It workes and I did as described in your link....
Now I guess I need and index file at the root? Currently the file is not found, since it is one level down...
