The issue is that my domain, pointing at root, does not find index.php, since the file now is in gallery3. I tried moving index to root, but I get a blank page. Site works well when I use the url: mysite.com/gallery3 - but mysite.com does not work

I found this under Gallery 2: change config.php
$gallery->setConfig('data.gallery.base', 'some/path');

Same for G3 beta 3?
What do I change exactly?

I think you have to expalin a bit better.

Where is your G3 install now?
what is the url
where do you want to move it to?
You don't have to have data below the web root/doc root/public_html location.

No code in G2 works with G3 it is a completely different animal.

Thanks Dave

The discussion is ongoing here and problem is not solved yet:

All I want is my URL to locate index.php inside the Gallery3 folder, which it doesn't! In other words downtime for 2 days now.
