Hello to everyone! We have notice on MAC using browser: Safari and Firefox downlaoding hi resolution pictures like TIFF RGB on MAC those browsers open a new window with the image in huge size inside, Instead on PC it opens the download browser's windows and let download the picture as normal (as would be a zip file). What could cause the problem on MAC? thanks for your help |

This would be a function of how Mac deals with those file types and how they are registered with the system and/or browsers.
If you install Quicktime on Windows, it'll most likely behave the same way (by default)

Hello thanks guys for your reply.
I understand your point.
Do you think if we update gallery to last version are we able to fix it?
Also i would like ask you if would be possible make user download pictures in ZIP format (have zip file done on fligh)?

I'm confused as to what version you have. You say 2.0, but core 1.3.0 is 2.3
Post your system information from Site Admin > Maintenance
And I doubt there's anything you can change in Gallery to change this behavior. Maybe in the way the server sends the file, but it's still up to the browser on how to deal with the files.
As for zip download, install the cart and zipcart plugins:
