Hi,
I have recently changed web host and discovered they only use Apache 1.3.41. I remember seeing somewhere on the forum that G3 will only work with Apache 2.2 and above. Is this the case or am I remembering wrongly. If so the host asks what the reason is and to get back to them. Hope you can help, Thanks, Ken

Yes, that's true, Apache 2.2 or newer. The reasoning, take advantage of current technology. Apache 1.3 is old and only getting security updates, no new features and cannot take advantage of new stuff people are creating. Unless you are using old extensions for Apache that haven't been made available on Apache 2.x is the only reason you should stick with Apache 1.3. The Apache group strongly encourages every who can, to upgrade to Apache 2.2. That's where all new development is happening.
