Image thumbnails - fit to square

Hi, I am trying to get my thumbnails to "fit to square" and it is saying : You need to enable a graphics toolkit module with PPM support to use the "fit images to square" mode I am currently using the GD module, as GD is recommended by my host. They also said they have imagemagick installed, but the path they gave me doesn't seem to work. Do I need to install a different graphics toolkit ? |

I'd recommend not using GD, it's a huge resource hog. ImageMagick is what I prefer. Post a link to phpinfo, it could be that open_basedir restrictions are in place not allowing PHP to access where ImageMagick is located.
