Direct linking to albums and permission problems

I am trying to create user groups for each album and have the users restricted to that album only. When I try to link directly to an album I get the "dang something went wrong message". If I have the user who is only part of one group login they can see all albums. Any idea what's going on here? Also when I am on the main gallery screen with IE8 logged in as an Admin if I hover over the gallery when the options window pops up the galleries jump all over the screen and I get a script error in IE. Any idea with this problem also?

Thanks in advance!!!

I suspect that the user going to that album does not have permissions to view the album.

Thank you for the reply. I do see that the IE issue has been fixed but I can not get the latest dev code to work. I download the package, unzip it to my site directory and copy over my var folder and all I get is 500 errors. No log is written either. What am I doing wrong?

I do agree with you that the user does not have access to the gallery (I do not want any public galleries) but I want it to prompt for login like G2 does if you try to directly link. Any idea how I can secure the gallery to a group, add the users to that group, then have someone who is not logged in try to go directly to that gallery and get prompted for auth?

Thanks!!
