Upgrade from beta 3 to latest code problems

I updated using the latest code from link on this page http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Upgrading and now the site is blank. The upgrader asked for me to verify file before proceeding. I created the file in the appropriate directory and hit the button to proceed and then got a blank page. I also get a blank page for the site. Do I need to start over from scratch? -jeff |

Make sure you followed the "tips for unpacking the code" section to ensure that you don't have any old files laying around, no old themes, no customizations, nothing.
Then run through the upgrader again.

I decided to start from scratch but had issues with the admin not wokring. Thanks for the fast reply. I'll go back and try the old version with upgrade making the old version work again. I did have some themes on there.
