How to reset administrator password?

I installed Gallery 3 beta 3 on FreeBSD 8.0, and I seem to have forgotten the administrator password.

I tried to have it mailed to me, but the message is never delivered. I don't see any activity by Gallery on the mail log file on the server hosting G3.

Is there a workaround? For older versions of Gallery one could create a file with a specific filename in the setup directory, but that doesn't seem to be an option with G3...

Thanks!

Someone posted a hash to reset the password in the DB, but I can't find it. There was a problem with Gallery sending those emails awhile back, maybe in B3. Try upgrading to RC1. During the upgrade process, you'll be able to create a text file instead of having to log in as admin.

Be sure to follow the instructions here:

You can get the latest code here:

Well, I followed the directions, created the text file, was able to upgrade, but I was not left logged in as the administrator...

I am now at RC1, and the reset email is still not being sent...

So, I installed Gallery3 RC1 from scratch again, and changed the Administrator password. After that, I cannot log in as that user, either with the new password, or with the original password generated during the installation.
