Browse album without load the page every time

Hello,

I have customized Matrix theme so that gallery has been integrated with my web site (http://www.rocsca.it/gallery2/).

I saw that browsing photo of an album in Facebook does not reaload the page enterely, but only changes the photo to the next in album.

As counterpart, while I browse an album of my web site, clicking on a photo, the next appears but the page is loaded again enterely, causing a boring effect that the page is scrolled at top.

It is possible to further customize my theme so that one could browse my albums without scrolling page every time that one switches to another photo (In a similar fashion of what happens with facebook)?

I think the Ajaxian theme has that capability

I would go the other way around. Adapt that theme ( it is very different that most other themes) and add your header/footer/sidebar to it.

I tried to adapt ajaxian theme to my site and I get some thing that doesn't work completely.. Could someone take a look and tell me why photo wasn't loaded (even in minislide show on the left bar).

Anyway, it seems to me that page are loaded enterely every time I change photo.

Hello,

I have solved some little issues mentioned below. Here the result:

Basically, now I would to avoid the command bar over the image and switch to next image simply clicking on the image (and so avoid that clicking on a foto I get the full view of image). Is this customization possible?
