When I attempt to upload an image, I get the following error message:

Server error: Error #2038 (IO)

What does this mean??

Anything in the error logs?
What is the error?
Ca you add using the server add method?
See if using an experimental version helps.

There is nothing in the error logs (via Admin dashboard)

See the attached screen shot for the error that I am seeing

Yes, I am able to add photos via the Server Add Method

Would uninstalling and reinstalling the RC 1 be of any user??

I just built an Uploadify module for G2 and saw that error during development.
Your albums directory is probably not world writable.

I will check that out. I used Simple Scripts to install the RC 1. I also went to SourceForge and notice a gallery-3.0-rc-1-p1.zip which is different that what Simple Scripts installed. I will try out the P1 version and see what happens.

Thanks Dave and suprsidr. I was able to resolve the issue. However I am not sure which action solved the problem: permissions or the upload of rc1-p1. However it is working and I am happy.

Again, thanks to both of you for your help.
