Help! Gallery won't process my items

Hi,

I know nothing about pho/mysql stuff and am completely stuck. I started using Gallery for my photography business in about February 2010 and last uploaded an album full of photos in around April. I had no troubles with it at all. I've come to upload more photos for clients to view and purchase and it won't process or display anything. I have tried the standard upload from web browser and it goes through 100% upload process then gets to the orange processing items bar, gets 1/3 of the way through and that's it, nothing more. i tried gallery remote, got nothing, uploading from applet, got nothing, i downloaded the export for iphoto program, got nothing. see the files go into my webdisk but don't display on the gallery main page. i've tried logging in and out again many times. i haven't changed anything and i don't know what to do. I use gallery 2.3.1 and even tried to upgrade to gallery 3.0 but couldn't find my var file to do so, i use a mac if that helps. i can see my xml file in the webdisk folder but the gallery 3 folder failed to copy into my webdisk folder. any ideas for a very programmingly illiterate person?! Please help!

Here's my system info but i can't make a link to phpinfo as i can't make my textedit file on the mac save with the extension .php it wants to save with .rtf plus i see that help file is for gallery 3, i'm still using gallery 2. is this any use?

Hi,

I've made the php file called phpinfo and uploaded it into my Gallery 2 folder on the webdisk. I don't really know how to give you a link for it though! Can you tell me how to do this please!?

I don't know if you're in the middle of doing something: http://www.capturetheoccasion.co.uk/gallerytwo/ only shows a directory listing with only the /modules directory showing.

Uninstall GD and install ImageMagick (under Site Admin > Plugins)

Test ImageMagick under Site Admin > ImageMagick does it pass or fail?
