Question about allowing comments

I feel I'm missing something fundamental, but I'll outline my problem and hopefully someone will understand and explain to me.

I would like to allow anonymous users to leave comments should they wish (after moderation). Looking through the help and forums indicates that installing the comments module should allow me to do this and control who can comment.

Well, I've installed that module, but can't find any control over who can comment. Looking then at the photo and album display, I find no evidence of a 'Comments' form, until I log in. If I then look at the images as if I was a guest, while still logged in as the administrator, I can see a comments form. My understanding from the documentation and forums is that anybody not logged in is automatically classified as guest.

Can someone point me in the right direction to allow comments to be posted please?

See, I knew I was doing something fundamentally stupid. I've just found the relevant fix myself. If anyone else is struggling after having added the comments module, proceed as follows...

Select an album for which you want to allow anybody to comment on photos.

Select "Edit permissions" from the menu at the bottom of the screen.

At the bottom of the next screen, under "New user permissions" add the username "guest" and select "add comments" and click the "Add permission" button.
