I'm not sure that anything other then my Gallery version "2.3.1" is relevant.
I want to create a number of albums which are editable by guests. The idea is that none of the users have to have an account in order to create new albums and so on.
Currently I can create a new album and then go to "edit permissions" and add or remove permissions that I want.
However I want to set default permissions as I'll be using the same permissions on every album. It says that I can create a new group with certain permissions and assign that group to the album.
I can't find a way to edit "Everybody" permissions though. In the site admin area I can change the groups name and so on, but not the permissions.
How would I go about doing this? Also is there anything new in Gallery 3 that will make this easier? I'm interested in running Gallery 3 instead.
Thanks for your time.

That's a really, really bad idea, but if you like spam and most likely will end violating your host's TOS because you're hosting content that violates their TOS, sure go for it.
No need to create a new group, the Everybody group already exists. To allow Everybody the ability to do this, go to the album(s) you want your spam/porn/hate/vulgar/etc images to be hosted at and click on Edit Permissions. For "New Group Permission", type in Everybody and give them the permissions you want them to have.
Good luck controlling that monster.
