Gallery - Gallery 3 on Unsupported Servers

Greetings. We've opened this sub-forum for the purpose of providing an avenue for communications on using Gallery 3 on unsupported platforms.

Many of you have come forward in regards of the stance of no longer supporting Gallery on the Windows platform, as well as other platforms, such as using Postgres, Nginx, Macs, and many others.

Quick history, I installed Gallery about a year ago on our server 2008 machine and there was no problems with install. The folder that held the php files were in an external drive. Like so. E:/gallery3 The reason is because the external drive had alot more space.

I use Windows x64 and xampp. Can someone help me please.

Yes, I am aware that G3 is not supported for Windows, and do not need anyone to remind me.

I've been running G2 fine for many years now. Also upgraded to G3 just fine (*cough, ok admittedly, it took the hell of patience, hahah)

So anyways:

I am receiving this error:

I have a tale of woe.

I have been trying to build a photo gallery intranet for a small public sector organisation.

I had been looking at Piwigo. But after reaching a few deadends and becoming increasingly annoyed with its poor administration section I decided to experiment with some other options. After trying about 5 different sites, I tried out gallery.

can not install xampp gallery3

Hey everyone! I'm really new to this kind of thing, and decided to experiment with this cool tool you guys have built. I installed it on my SBS 2008 X64 machine, on my public-facing website (I know, that setup is discouraged, but I got the hardware and software for free!).
