Unable to upload my photos to gallery 1.5.9. Java applications blocked by security settings with the latest Java.

I get the message "Gallery Remote can find no protocol implementation at the URL ...". Searching the docs gives the hint at http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery_Remote:FAQ#I_get_.22Gallery_Remote_can_find_no_protocol_implementation_at_the_URL_....22 but that doesn't help.

Logged in as admin, there is absolutely no "Site Admin," then "Plugins," "Get More Plugins," find "remote control".

I have used Gallery Remote since Gallery 1. I switched to the Java version after moving to windows 7-64 and found the download location is 404,

One day it worked, next it did not.
I have tried several computers, none worked.

It fails on initialization with the error in the subject. clicking ok until it attempts to logon results in a final fatal error.

I have 3 Windows systems (XP, Vista, 7) that I use to mass upload photos to 3 Gallery2 2.3.1 systems using Upload Applet. Over the past year, the Upload Applet has stopped working on one, then another and last night my final Windows Vista system leaving me with no way to do bulk uploads.

How do I retrieve pathComponent in galleryremote?

I'm making some changes to pix2gallery2 and I'm needing to change album.title. to something like album.pathComponent. but, its not working. I want to retrieve the path name set for the album. Is this possible? please help me out if you have any ideas.

Trouble with mobile upload after 3.0.4 upgrade

I run Gallery3 on a Freebsd 9 apache server. Today I upgraded Gallery 3.03 to 3.0.4 and transferred all my modules and themes over, all went well but I broke the ability to upload photo's from my Andriod phone using the Andriod Eye Fi app & XotoF. I have enabled the gallery remote module and added the below code to my /usr/local/www/.htaccess file.
