Translations

Hi,

this forum is ONLY for language related stuff.
For example:

• the languages itself.
• Direction, alignment positioning in different languages.
• difficult phrases or sentences in the orginal, which makes it hard to translate
• untranslated parts

Hello,
First of all I don’t have Unix system and still I want to translate some of the modules in to Hebrew
I downloaded this program poedit-1.4.6-setup.exe to work in windows
I notice that, there are some modules folders with the lang files that I need to complete and in some folders like the slideshow/po/ there is no translation file "HE.po"

I' ve installed Gallery3 with module basket i want to translate the phrase "Add To Basket" from English to Italian ...
which file should I change ?

I have made a new module for gallery. I need to translate it to other languages. I can generate .raw file by running /gallery2/lib/tools/po/extract.php. How to generate .po files from .raw files?
I have dowloaded poedit, but it does not understand .raw files.

I'm trying to translate the Register's module in French, but it doesn't work.
I 've put fr.po and fr.mo files in gallery2\modules\register\po
What can I do?

hello everybody,

In french, "galerie" has only one "l"
In English, "gallery" has two "l" and one "y".

In every french screen we can see "Gallerie" with two "l" but no "y".
what is the best according to you ?
Is it a trademark ? so why not keeping the english name "Gallery" like the logo ?
Is it possible to change the translation somewhere in the code ?
