Migrating to Gallery 2

I want to place my old G1 galleries in a subfolder Urloffen in G2, but I want to preserve the old http://www.amason.net/gallery/... urls.

It should not be that hard to simply redirect any url from "/gallery/%1" to "gallery2/v/Urloffen/%1".
Tell me there is away to do this in G2. Otherwise I'm going to have to override all the G2 security and

How to downgrade gallery 2, I migrated from the gallery 2 to the gallery 3 and I did not like, want to return to the gallery 2, as I do?.

Is there a command line import tool? I'm migrating from 1.5 to 2, then 3. So I need to import my albums while preserving hierarchy & captions from v1.5 to v2, then v3.

I am able to import a few albums at a time from v1.5 to v2. But can't do more than that at once due to the memory problem.

I tried to move my galery 2.2.2 from one server to another.
I've backup g2data folder + sql database

On the new server I've installed the same package/version of gallery (2.2.2), import sql database and g2data folder from old server, then I launched the install

I just started administering a Gallery 2 installation and I would like to move it from its current Linux based server to a Windows 2008 R2 server. I would like to continue using Gallery 2 on the new server. Additionally, the current Gallery 2 installation is running in multisite mode.
