[Submit your own testimonial]"Not long ago, I installed Gallery2 as a Drupal module on one of my web sites. I did it primarily because I wanted to see how it would stack up against the other image gallery software I use on my other sites.
I have to say that I am absolutely astonished at the impressive program that's been developed here. But the program is not the half of it. When I go to the forums, I see that the Gallery team has developed a "culture" that is open and willing to help people use and support this product. I am more impressed with the people who administer this program. Your willingness to help people who are just starting to use this program is commendable.
While I don't normally waste time with "warm fuzzys", I just wanted to recognize the people who make this program happen, not only for their great programming, but their outstanding people skills too.

"I just wanted to pass on my thanks to all how have worked on this project as well as the many people who have contributed to this forum. A little over a year ago, I was asked to set up a photo gallery for our high school band so that those of us who were shooting pictures could put them in a single place that would all the students and parents to easily access them.
Since that time, the site has grown to include over 13,400 pictures sorted into may different album levels. We have five photographers shooting pictures at every show and in one month, I tracked over 8.5GB of traffic and over 287,000 page hits. The most popular feature is the ability for the kids to get together and run the slide shows on their home computers after the weekends shows.

"Since this is the place for feedback, I just wanted to let any developers of Gallery2 that this is a great piece of software. It's EXACTLY what I was looking for. Mostly, it was easy for me to install (being better with cameras that php files.
The install was a pleasant surprise after dealing with some other 'automated' install programs, and the security warnings were a bonus.
I've been playing with it for a couple of hours and have a good grip on it, and I'm sure I'll have more questions and confusion along the way.
But for now, I can only say, "WOW"

Your product is great, the code is written brilliantly, and by reading
your weekly status I'm very impressed. It looks so professional! It
really gives me a new opinion on PHP (I got acquainted with PHP before
OO features made it in). It's the living proof that one can make real

I'm currently evaluating G2 to replace my huge photo and video
gallery, and I'm sure version 2.3 will convince me to switch, once the
flash videos are properly transcoded and rendered.

"I installed gallery 1.5.6 yesterday and integrated it into Mambo successfully. I was having trouble with getting the images to show but I kept troubleshooting. I searched your forums and looked at the FAQ and finally found the problem. I just wanted to post because I saw that a lot of people were having the same problem but they created a new post on it without researching it first. I just wanted to let you know that people ARE reading the FAQ and ARE reading the forums to find solutions and not just posting first. THANKS! You guys have a great product. photo album and I knew I would not be disappointed when I installed v2
for a new project yesterday. The package is fantastic--the default
theme is clean and simple, everything is laid out logically, and the
software doesn't waste my time with annoying quirks or an unintuitive

man.. THIS IS WILD ! The best & easiest image server utility I've met.
The auto install feature was probably magic.. because I set back, had
a soft drink, and smiled all the way to "Installation Successful".
Good stuff.
