Gallery is provided free of charge -- the Gallery team is not in this for profit. We support the open source forum for software development. However, we do have operating costs - our own server space, for example. The affiliate fees will help us to cover some of our costs.

If you are a hosting company intending to inquire about the list, please be advised that there is a HUGE backlog of requests - more hosting companies than I can sift through within this lifetime. I am only planning to add about four or five more hosts to the list, most of whom have already been determined. If you feel you have a very compelling offer for us with a particularly favorable affiliate arrangement, then please contact us. Otherwise, I have more than enough inquiries in queue at this time.

Hosting companies contacting regarding list placement are adhering to the following requirements:

  1. Be both G1 and G2 compatible with all binaries automatically detected on your servers and no extra steps required by the user to get G1 or G2 working
  2. Have an active affiliate program already in place
  3. Please provide an empty test account where I can do a test installation of Gallery
  4. Please be an experienced hosting company that can legimitately provide exceptionally strong customer support
