i think i'm supposed to do the php cgi thing...

... but i'm not entirely sure. i tried to just use gallery without it, and following the installation instructions i get a 500 internal server error:

so i tried installing the php-cgi thing on my server and i still can't get anything (i followed the installation directions in the forum and set up the .htaccess file and everything.). i've tried http://www.ioke.org/gallery and running the php.cgi file, but nothing works...

so i'm not sure if my web host even has all the right stuff or if i'm using the correct version of the php cgi file (sorry, i'm not tech savvy at all, i can do the basic things and sometimes, i get ambitious like i am now.). i set up php file:

that has all the information on the server and php configuration.

if someone could help me out and let me know what i'm supposed to do to get this whole thing running, that would be awesome. thanks a bunch :grin:
