I am very much a novice and finding it very hard to find an answer to this question. Am I correct in understanding that Gallery 3 is what I would term as standalone web pages and that they cannot be a part of my web page templates that I am using for the rest of the site? I am using MS Expression Web 4 with dynamic web templates. If this is the case then I guess I can only add a link to my Gallery albums?

w/ G3, you'll have to create/edit your own theme to look like your site. That is until 3.1 when embedding/integration API is in place.

G2 on the other hand is very easy to embed(I have an easy form). G2 is still a great & powerful app.

Thank you for this information. Unfortunately I am finding the instructions far too technical for my level of understanding. However, I have tried an experiment of adding an iframe to my web page and then the link to my gallery files. It appeas to work fine, but have I done the right thing?

If an iframe is good enough for you, then the decision is yours.
So did you end up w/ G2 or G3?
I can assist w/ G2 if you go that route.
