I have added G2 to my website. Now the questions will begin. Can you help?

Question #1:
I tried to add an item and this is listed at the top of the screen:
You don't have any Graphics Toolkit activated that can handle JPEG images. If you add images, you will probably not have any thumbnails. Visit the Modules page to activate a Graphics Toolkit.
I went to the Modules page and tried to install Dcraw but it said I needed to configure it and then it said I needed to install something else. What do I need?

Question #2:
When I added a jpeg picture, it was HUGE. Will the installation of the module listed above fix that problem, along with there not being a thumbnail?

I know I'll have a ton more questions as I go. I'm a novice at best at this stuff and I appreciate all your help.

Dcraw is only for RAW file formats, not JPEG images. If you don't know what that is, uninstall it and ignore it.

GD should be available via PHP at the very least. That's why we have a module for it, even though GD is not the preferred toolkit to use, it is available on nearly every PHP install.

If not, then try installing the ImageMagick module. If you can't because you're missing the ImageMagick binaries, talk to your host about where they are or how to get them on the server.
