Hello,
I'm working on a theme for the front-end of my gallery3 site.
After a lot of changes I saw two things stopped working -

1. The admin area - when I login to the admin area I get an header and the rest of the page is blank :

2. The slideshow - when I open the slideshow I get a blank lightbox :

what can cause this problems?

Thanks

The front end theme and admin themes are totally separate, that is unless you've edited some CSS that's in some other location used through out Gallery instead of just editing the CSS under your theme.

I managed to restore the admin area, but even when I go back to the wind theme - the slideshow doesn't work :

The javascript only slideshow works for me. Right now I don't have the Cooliris plugin installed, but that should also work if the javascript slideshow is working.

What do you mean by "javascript only"? I haven't changed the default settings for the slideshow.

When I'm trying to open the slideshow in Firefox and IE I get a black lightbox. the slideshow works only on chrome.

Works for me on Firefox, IE and Chrome. By "javascript only" I mean that same slideshow module has 2 modes.
One a simple, javascript only slideshow. The other is if you install the Cooliris plugin, then you have a fancy
"3D Wall" and pretty cool flashbased slideshow.

I don't have the Cooliris plugin installed and don't plan on installing it. I'm hoping to either create or wait
until someone else creates a cooler javascript only slideshow. I've had problems myself with the Cooliris plugin
and I also don't like how it tries to interact with other popular sites when you are browsing them.

When you say it works for you, do you mean it works on my site or on yours? I know the script is O.K, I'm just trying to find why it's not working on my site anymore :

Any ideas?

I mean it works for me on your site using 3 different browsers.

See the attached screenshot. This one is from Chrome, but IE and FF look the same:

Any ideas on what can cause it to not work for me? See the attached screenshot of what I see when I use Firefox (version 3.6.15)

What version are you using?

Are you able to load the JS used by the slideshow? It's loaded from a remote server:
http://apps.cooliris.com/slideshow/go.js

I can see in firebug that the script from http://apps.cooliris.com/slideshow/go.js is getting loaded (I've attached a screenshot).

Well I can only suggest you try a different computer. It's working for us. I know it's working for me on 2 different computers, on 2 different networks and across 3 different browsers.

Could maybe be your anti-virus scanner or something else on your workstation.
