How do I enable a video/audio to run upon entering an album?
I would like the audio to continue while the album is viewed.

You can setup Raw Html as your default posting and disable html filtering. I describe how here.
Then you can add your video/audio player code to your album description. mediaBlock could make that very easy.
Then you'd need to find a theme that does not refresh the whole page while browsing. Maybe ajaxian.. never used it myself, so I don't know it's default behavior.
Or even jQuery mediaBlock.
Or your album description's code could popup a new window for the player.
