Gallery URL: http://www.animalsindistress-pa.org/gallery
Gallery version: 1.5.4
Apache version: 1.3.42
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 4.4.7
Graphics Toolkit: NetPBM
Operating system: FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE #0
Web browser/version (if applicable):

Here's my phpinfo file:
http://www.animalsindistress-pa.org/gallery/setup/phpinfo.php

Here is the error message I get when I attempt to upload an image:

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory in /usr/home/c74001x1/public_html/gallery/platform/fs_unix.php on line 36

Warning: getimagesize(/usr/home/c74001x1/public_html/albums/dogs/Chewsie.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/c74001x1/public_html/gallery/lib/imageManipulation.php on line 571

Error: Invalid image: Chewsie.jpg

I am able to delete photos, move them to other albums, create new albums, change permissions, etc. - everything but upload new images. The problem coincides with a server build (according to phpinfo file) on April 13. Other problems occurred with some CMS files when the host did whatever they did on that date but I was able to change a few URLs and fix that problem. The gallery problem has me stumped.

I tried installing another gallery (same version) and received a different error message, something like "image has no dimensions" with a lot of CSS codes in the error message. Again, I was able to do anything except upload an image.

Part of the problem is that I am dealing with an uncooperative host (they prefer helping the big profitable clients - this one is a small non-profit organization). They claim to not know of any work done on the server on 4/13 but the phpinfo file tells me otherwise. Right now, moving the site isn't an option, but could be the solution in the future when a whole new site is built.

I was sticking with this old version of Gallery because there were no databases enabled. I'm hoping that I don't have to start with something new. (I've had some issues with the database and graphics libraries too). Are there any Gallery gurus out there with any ideas? I will provide login info if you think you can help.

Rachel
P.S. This gallery helps animals find homes so the sooner I can get it back on track, the sooner these sad little critters will find a family to adopt them. :)

Hello Rachel,

could you send me an admin user and send me the password via private message?
So i can look at the configuration and actually can see the phpinfo.

Regards,
Jens
