General theme questions

Hi,

Coming back to Gallery after ages. I am interested in accomplishing some specific objectives. I need to render a subset of albums with plain white backgrounds and no top-side Gallery logo and navigation chrome. I assume there is no theme which provides that, but thought I should check.

The next-best approach, I think, would be to install the very plainest theme available and strip elements away a bit at a time.

Any suggestions for a good theme to start with?
