Automatically import IPTC Caption field into Gallery photo Summary field?

When uploading photos to my Gallery 2, can I automatically have the IPTC 'Caption' field for my photos imported into the 'Summary' field of the Gallery item? In my Site Administration, under 'Extra Data' I see the EXIF/IPTC option. Looking at that page, I see a section called 'Item Upload' but underneath that I see no option that would allow me to copy the IPTC Caption to the Gallery Item Summary. I'm hoping I'm missing something!
