Hallo,

Vielen Dank
Michael

I have several pre-compile ffmpeg binaries for different operating systems available on my site.

Upload to your server somewhere behind your public root and chmod the directory to 755
point gallery's ffmpeg module to the above directory and test.

NOTE: not all hosts allow executables and if you need further assistance with ffmpeg on your server ask your host. If they refuse get a new host.
This to 2011 and hosts need to bring valuable services to their clients.
Gallery2 and 3 are great applications and we hope we can get you up and running the way you want.

upload your video to gallery
then visit that item and you should see a "Download movie" link
in your sidebar chose Edit Movie

the new flashvideo module tries to get the dimensions from the stream itself.

And gallery tells you these files are not accessible due to open_basedir?
You'll have to ask your host to add public_html/fotos_michaelmadej/uploads to the open_basedir path
explain to them what you are trying to do.

Sorry I am not German, but I do know very much about videos in gallery2 - and I'm afraid much gets lost in google translation.

I had phones with the webhoster and he mean that the video file (.f4v) is too big.
My Uploadmemory is 24 Megs.

Is that right.

When i give on the path as "http://fotos.michaelmadej.de/uploads" then it will be
saved without errors.

in green comes the message "adjustmend succesfully saved"
The i go into the album and ad element on register "local from server"
The comes an error message " the admin must be at first to define folder"

grrr.
What´s that ????????

When i give on the path as "http://fotos.michaelmadej.de/uploads"

that is not a PATH, that is a URL.
URL: http://www...
PATH: /usr/local/www/mysite.com...
you will need the full system path
if you do not know the full system path, look to your gallery's config.php for clues.

thanks, now it will be work.
i have seen the real path there must be.

Now i dont have an thumbnail, how can create it.
the video are created from MOV File to convert with Adobe Media Encoder into (.f4v).

I want to see the file in Flash Videoplayer but in the galery are only a Downloadbutton.
I dont want to download the video only for streaming.

thanks Michael

in Adobe Media Encoder choose flv not f4v (f4v is very new and most servers don't know what it is.)
