adding photos

Hi all, I cannot add photos to the albums for some reason. When I select the "select photos" button, nothing happens and there is no response. Would be grateful for advice because I am new to gallery3 thanks |

Make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed.
Try a different browser like Chrome or Firefox.
What operating system are you using, Windows, Linux, Mac?

Thank you for your response. As I said, I am new to gallery and not a great computer wizard!
Not being able to move on with gallery3 after adding albums, I removed gallery3 from the website and reinstalled it. Alas, now I cannot for some reason re-install gallery3. The prompt says consult your Gallery Administrator! So now the state is that I have not been able to install gallery3 again. When I checked var folder on FTP the albums were still there! Though the var folder subscription was changed to 777 still I am not able to install it. It is not a matter of just adding photos now but of installation itself! I have spent many hours trying to figure it out myself but to no avail. So I look forward to your help. thanks. And I do have the latest version of flash.
