Silly question.

I'm considering installing Gallery. Am currently using imagestation.com, but am less than pleased with its performance.

One thing that imagestation allows is to order pictures online.

Any tips on how to duplicate this functionality with Gallery?

DOH!

Just saw this in the "Features" section:

Photo printing [1][0]. Gallery is integrated with Shutterfly. Your viewers can order prints via Shutterfly with a single click.

Version 1.4-pl2 supports Shutterfly, PhotoAccess, and a German service called Fotokasten. v1.4.1 will add support for EZ Prints.

Should be able to.
In view_photo.php, substitute your affiliate info. for what we have in there.

I have a question about how Gallery setup the printing accounts with the printing services. I am a web developer developing a flash gallery component called imageweaver. The current release is very poorly coded but i am in the middle of developing a much better system which will include backend management. Anyway I have been asked by one of my users to install a printing service like Gallery offers. Having looked into your excellent work I am curious as how the accounts with the various companies were setup? In the submission forms in "view_photo.php" do these forms submit to an account created by Gallery or is it a generic form type that anyone can use? If they are not generic forms how do i go about setting up my own account for use by imageweaver users?

In all cases (all four services currently supported), Gallery has a specific affiliate program with that print service, where Gallery receives a very small donation per photo printed. I recommend you contact the print service(s) you're interested in in order to set things up. Some services provide for an anonymous submission without any affiliate program, but it varies from service to service.

Best I can tell, "view_photo.php" is not in the G2 version. Is there a similar fix in the G2?

In G2 each print service is a separate module: shutterfly, photoworks (module dir still has the old name, photoaccess), fotokasten and digibug.
