Can Gallery swap new photos onto a page each day automatically without administrator input?

This may well be the wrong forum - please redirect me if it is.

What I would like to do is display 12 or 15 pictures per day from a source directory that is not open to visitor viewing and have the program automatically select 12 to 15 new images each day (with no repeats).

Ideally, old images would be archived to visitor accessible pages (so they could browse through old images at leisure).

Can Gallery do this? Easily?
