New items - propagation question

Hi everyone !

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before. But, I couldn't find any answer myself.
I've setup my gallery and my thought was that I wanted 3 users - each with their own collections of sub albums.

I was hoping that there is a way that I could use 'New Items' module or something simular to tell on the top level page that there are sub albums updated ?

If you have a look at this album, I'm sure you understand what I mean.

Lets say that I update 'September 2011' with a new photo ... It will be markted all the way "up".

Anyone ?

i have made the same change to my gallery, 1 year before based on a tutorial that i have found in this forum
