Upload, einbingen vieler Fotos auf einmal - wie am besten? FTP?

Hallo zusammen, habe mir eben die Gallery 2.3 eingerichtet. Im Moment bin ich zwar noch dabei die verschiedenen Alben einzurichten, doch wenn das soweit ist, muss ich jene mit den Bildern füllen. Lokal habe ich ein Verzeichnis mit mehreren Unterverzeichnissen. Die Unterverzeichnisse haben den gleichen Namen, wie der Album Titel. Im FTP-Verzeichnis für die Daten der Gallery konnte ich sehen, dass dort die gleiche Struktur angelegt wurde. Dass ich jetzt auf einmal alle Fotos per FTP hochlade ist wohl nicht möglich, oder? Denn jedes Foto einzelnd angeben ist viel Arbeit. Eine Möglichkeit alle Bilder eines Albums anzugeben, wäre schonmal eine erleichterung. Vielleicht hat jemand von euch ja eine Idee? LG Tobias |

Also, ich benutze hierfür den Windows Publishing Wizard. Falls er noch nicht aktiv ist, kannst Du ihn unter "Erweiterungen > Import" installieren. Wenn Du dann innerhalb eines Albums auf "Elemente hinzufügen" klickst, findest Du oben den Reiter "Windows Publishing Wizard". Darin wird erklärt, wie er funktioniert:

Installation
Download the configuration file using right-click 'Save Target As...' Once downloaded, rename it to 'install_registry.reg'. If it asks you for confirmation about changing the file type, answer 'yes'. Right click on this file and you should see a menu appear. Select the Merge option (this should be at the top of the menu). It will ask you if you want to import these values into your registry. Click 'Ok'. It will tell you that the files were imported successfully. Click 'Ok' again.

Usage
Windows Vista
Open your Windows Photo Gallery.
Select one or more images / files in your Windows Photo Gallery.
Click "Print..." and select the online printing option (not the local printing option).
Select the Gallery 2 printing service.
Then follow the instructions to log into your Gallery, select an album and publish the image(s).
Windows XP, Windows 2000 and earlier Windows versions
Open your Windows Explorer and browse to a folder containing supported images.
Select the image(s) or a folder.
Click the link on the left that says "Publish this file to the web..."
Select the Gallery 2 printing service.
Then follow the instructions to log into your Gallery, select an album and publish the image(s).

ich habe gallery 3. liegt es daran?

meine frage hat sich erübrigt. ich lösche gallery 3 wieder. sowas kann ich nicht gebrauchen, auch wenn es kostenlos ist. viel spaß all denen, die gallery 3 verstanden haben.

Hallo Muckel,
also bei Gallery 2 kann ich dir nur empfehlen das du die Gallery Remote installierst oder per Java startest. Du musst das allerdings in den Erweiterungen dne Remote freigeben. Ich nutze das ständig und auch immer mit recht grossen Datenmengen und bisher nie Probleme gehabt. Dafür oft aber Probleme damit das ich es über den Server installiert habe (also Files in ein Verzeichnis laden und dann über Elemente Hinzufügen in das Album zu packen. Irgendwie stürzt dabein der Upload ab und hängt sich auf....sind also nie alle Fotos enthalten und das einzeln zu durchsuchen...nee Danke....und mit der Remote funktioniert das bisher super zuverlässig!
