3.02 Upgraded, but no images or albums

I've upgraded my Gallery from 3.01 to .02 as instructed, and moved my /var directory over to the new install. I can see that the albums and images are there, but they don't appear when surfed to. I've gone into Gallery's Maintenance module and performed all the tasks available, but still nothing. Thankfully, I preserved the old install, but I'd like to be up-to-date. Ideas or solutions? |

Check that the database.php under both var directories is the same.

Oh and not everything got moved (you copied) over:

That's empty. Make a backup of your old var directory and try moving it again. This time move it as that operation doesn't consume a lot of resources and is fast. Making a copy of a large set of files/directories is just a recipe for disaster. Especially from ALL host's CRAPPY "file mangers" in their control panels (ALL web based file managers in ALL control panels for ALL hosts are flaky pieces of crap). If you used FTP to make the copy, well that's going to be slightly better, but also still prone to problems.
