File names instead of pictures

Hi:

I am trying to move old galleries (v. 1.4) to a new server.
I installed gallery 1.5 and moved the albums folder to the new gallery.
Everything seems to work, EXCEPT for the fact that instead of pictures, I get filenames.

I know this version is not supported anymore, but I'm hoping this is really a simple issue.
