Hi,
earlier this year my webhost switched to using cPanel on the server, and after finding that the migration broke a number of scripts within components of my site, I gave in and rebuilt the site. I was able to re-install and rebuild my G2 installation and installed the latest version (0.4.3) of Checkout. I managed to configure and activate the module, however I have had problems with the order process and changing of order status ever since. Whilst doing some testing last night on a subdomain, I was unable to configure the Checkout module, receiving a 403 Forbidden error. Having searched the forum for an answer on this, I found a thread suggesting that Checkout didn't seam to work with cPanel and that in the couple of noted instances, the resolution seamed to be to dump cPanel. I am wondering if it was ever found why there was an issue with cPanel, and if there is anything that can be done to resolve this. I am not wishing to leave my current web host (very good value for $$ and service from them to date), and as I don't sell prints via a printing service cannot use the standard G2 cart.
As G3.1 which is mooted to have the embedding functions still seams to be some way off (I currently have G2 embedded into Joomla via jfusion), I still have a need to run G2 so I really hope to be able to get Checkout working.

Even if your host offers cPanel why would you want to use it? Install Gallery and checkout the sensible way (ftp etc) and forget about cPanel.
